We believe that this atmosphere is important not only to the children but to their parents, families and to the staff at the Centre, and therefore encourage parent involvement.
We have an emphasis on providing quality care within a secure and nurturing atmosphere that is inclusive of individual needs.
About Us...The Humpty Doo Community & Child Care Centre opened its doors to the children of the rural area in April 1985. The Centre was established through the hard work of a working party of parents who saw the need for a child care centre in the rural area of Darwin. Funding from the Commonwealth Government was used to build the Centre, which was designed by a local architect.
The Centre provides long day care for up to 55 children aged between 0 months to 5 years. The Centre aims to offer a warm, safe, secure and stimulating environment where every child, parent, staff member and visitor can feel comfortable and welcome.
